Community Guidelines

Last updated 20 August 2026

These guidelines describe the behaviour we expect from everyone on CinematicMovies.xyz, whether you are watching, commenting or publishing.

Expected behaviour

Be respectful. Disagree with ideas, not with people. Assume good faith and give creators room to make mistakes.

Comments

Keep comments on topic and civil. Do not post spoilers without a warning, do not flood a thread, and do not use comments to advertise unrelated products or services.

Harassment

Targeted harassment, threats, doxxing and coordinated pile-ons are not allowed, on or off a creator's work.

Hate

Content or comments that attack people based on protected characteristics such as race, religion, gender, sexuality or disability are removed and may result in suspension.

Sexual content and minors

Sexual content involving minors is never permitted in any form, including AI-generated depictions, and is reported to the relevant authorities.

Graphic violence

Gratuitous or shock-value depictions of graphic violence are not allowed. Narratively justified violence should be rated appropriately.

Self-harm

Content that encourages, instructs or glorifies self-harm or suicide is removed. We may point viewers to support resources where appropriate.

Spam and engagement manipulation

Do not use bots, fake accounts or coordinated activity to inflate views, likes, comments or follower counts, and do not post repetitive promotional spam.

Impersonation and likeness misuse

Do not impersonate another person or creator, and do not use someone's likeness or voice in an AI production without their permission.

AI disclosure expectations

Every series is labelled as AI-assisted, and creators must not present AI-generated footage as authentic real-world footage of real events or people.

Enforcement

We use an escalating ladder: a warning, then content removal, then feature restrictions (such as disabling comments or uploads), then temporary suspension, then permanent termination for repeated or severe violations. Severe violations can skip straight to termination.

Reporting and appeals

Report content or behaviour, or appeal an enforcement decision, through Contact using the safety or creator support category.
